No. While we can retooth back saws on our machine, doing so to ou hand saw plates will make them bow trememdously. For quality control, we do not offer custom PPI on our D8 style of saws.
We can only customize the filing on our back saws at this time. If you are interested in this service, please contact Info@BadAxeToolWorks.com and we will work with you on your next project. This could pose an additional fee depending on filing requested.

The short answer is yes! We offer resharpening on Bad Axe saws only, starting at $25 USD plus shipping. Please reach out to Airek directly at ship@badaxetoolworks.com to get a return label and walk you through the resharpening process. After your saw is back in the hands of the sawmakers, the turnaround time is quick and your saw will be back in your hands in no time. Yes, you can change the parts to whatever you would like on your custom saw; but if your saw needs maintenance and it is no longer the original parts, your warranty is voided. This includes swapping the handle to one not from Bad Axe Tool Works, taking a coating off of a back and/or fasteners, etc.
